Nigeria's psiv delivers a tight triplet drill flow on '234'

"What we’re doing is birthing a whole new scene," psiv says

Following the ‘Gangland’ single that introduced listeners to his socially-conscious style of drill, psiv returns with an ode to his native country, Nigeria, on ‘234’.

+234 is Nigeria’s area code, and psiv pays homage to his homeland on lines like: “It’s the 234, when I’m touching, it’s mad” over production by Canada’s Be Young aka Russian Mafia.

“The drill scene in Naij [Nigeria] is up and running and we’re the ones to keep it popping,” psiv says. “I’m telling my stories, talking about my life, capturing all that’s going on here, and still getting the people lit. It’s an iconic moment because what we’re doing is birthing a whole new scene.”

It’s the latest track we’ve been working on via our DMY Artists, and we’re excited to reveal that there’s more music from psiv in the works, with debut project ‘Welcome to the 234’ on the way.
