Premiere: Rasharn Powell - Kinda Guy

Rasharn Powell has an old soul but he is taking it to new places. The Essex-based singer-songwriter makes music to be listened to at dusk and dawn – slow burning, beautifully arranged electronic soul that would give the likes of Frank Ocean and James Blake a run for their money. On new track 'Kinda Guy', you can really trace the emotion that he puts into every vocal, and they send shivers down the spine. 

"Kinda Guy for me is my declaration of self and showcases the most honest depiction of myself, which I strive for within my music," Powell told Dummy. "It's intertwined with fantasy but it's mostly tangible. I made it with my friend/guitarist in a pretty natural setting at our friends place and it was birthed with ease."
