Premiere: Hear the throttling Prostitutes remix of Vee's 'Aether'

'Dawn Of The Failed Units pt. 2: Vee' is out on September 13th

Sometimes it’s up to music to do the talking, and the only piece of information we can give you about Vee is that they’re from Manchester. Despite supposedly orbiting the scene for some time (and ghostwriting for techno producers), ‘Dawn Of The Failed Units pt. 2: Vee’ is their debut proper.

Out via Manchester label Failed Units, it’s a stunner of a first outing, boasting four slices of industrial techno at its darkest and noisiest. On the flip, Prostitutes aka StabUdown boss James Donadio turns in a throttling, guttural rework of ‘Aether’ (which we’re premiering below), constructed of distorted kicks and brain-blasting synth lines.

The release has enjoyed some early support from Objekt, who spun the ‘reduced’ version of the remix during a recent Boiler Room set in Vienna, and you can tune in now below.

‘Dawn Of The Failed Units pt. 2: Vee (w/ Prostitutes remixes)’ is out on September 13th via Failed Units. Pre-order it via Bandcamp.
