Known for his fiery, energetic take on bashment, afrobeats and UK funky, Jamaica-born Doktor is an artist firmly on the rise, channelling his heritage into a sound that is uniquely his own.
Having already made waves with ‘Action‘, which received praise from DJ Target and Jamie Rodigan, the Chase & Status and Tyga collaborator proves his versatility further on ‘Flex N Bounce’, which we’re premiering below.
Backed with a bouncy afrobeats instrumental, courtesy of producer Dot Inc, ‘Flex N Bounce’ is “about not worrying too much,” Doktor says. “Make money, enjoy life and dance!” On the track, he laces the instrumental in his hyper-smooth vocal, and the accompanying video is pure house party hedonism, finding Doktor flexing with his own dance routine that you can imagine becoming a viral hit in weeks to come.
