Koloto - Antares

Koloto is a producer based in Kent, whose Soundcloud offerings so far suggest she has a deft ear for juxtaposing tender, chiming melodies around incendiary glitch-ridden beatwork. Antares has been floating about for a few months – and has been championed by staunch new music-championer Huw Stephens – and the confidence with which these dynamics dance between one another is striking: like a Gold Panda cut embracing its gnarly side. It’s also got an excellent piece of artwork accompanying it on Bandcamp (always a good thing), which you can take a look at below with the stream/download:
