Dark0 returns with atmospheric single 'Shining Star', teases debut album
London producer Dark0 has returned with a single on Stockholm label YEAR0001, ‘Shining Star’.
Full of the trance-inflected, hyper-melodic club sounds he’s become known for as well as evoking fantasy realms, the track is taken from forthcoming debut album ‘Eternity’.
It follows last year’s ‘ZERO2’ mixtape on the label, after Dark0’s previous outings on Adult Swim and XL Recordings.
The track comes with a video created in 3D software platform Cinema 4D by digital artist Sybil Montet.
“Since Sybil and I first met in 2016, we’ve built a close relationship and mutual understanding of the kind of visual identity we want to forge in our work together,” Dark0 says. “The video is inspired by hero archetypes and bonds of eternal friendship. We explore the ideas of evocation, destiny and fate, and how they manifest.”
