Jay Dolce has well and truly made her stamp on UK music; mixing a variety of sub-genres and offshoots of hip-hop in guest mixes for BBC 1Xtra and Capital XTRA, as well as hosting shows on Rinse FM, Foundation FM and Balamii. She started DJing in her bedroom in 2017, and with London as her stomping ground, she’s played at venues like The Ace Hotel and KOKO, plus festivals like The Ends, Wireless, WOO HAH! (The Netherlands) and Stormzy’s Merky Festival in Ibiza.
A notable figure – the DJ has collaborated with brands like Pioneer DJ, Oce Shoes, Pirate Studios, Axel Arigato and NICCE, along with tastemaker platforms, GRM Daily and Link Up TV. She also supported Nike for their #nothingbeatsalondoner campaign and Office for their Nike Dunk Disrupt campaign with her DJ collective CTRL SHFT.
Jay Dolce is driven by a desire to provide a platform to emerging UK sounds and pioneer the underground – but she has also supported big names like Kojey Radical and Br3nya. Tirelessly pulling out remixes of well-known favourites such as Tyler, The Creator and Jazmine Sullivan, Jay Dolce’s mixes are familiar and fresh, with a combination of UK drill and R&B.
