Wastelands bring Dan Bodan & Draveng, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Molly Nilsson and more to Ghent

Wastelands is a small but excellent little festival taking place at 019, a former welding factory-turned-arts space in Ghent, Belgium on August 8th.

With a lineup dedicated to new and emerging underground music from around the world, Wastelands is organised by the team behind Subbacultcha!, a great alternative music magazine, promotions team, and artist collective based around Belgium and Holland.

Previous editions of Wastelands have featured names like Huerco S. and John Maus, while last year's festival saw the likes of Mykki Blanco, Palmistry, and patten all perform.

This year, they've announced Ireland's Rejjie Snow, Copenhagen's Jaakko Eino Kalevi, and Swedish off-pop musician Molly Nilsson for the festival amongst others. They've just announced a new addition of Berlin-based, Canadian-born crooner Dan Bodan, performing with Allergy Season-associated techno producer Draveng.
