The 2013 edition of Field Day seemed to be blessed – bookended either side by torrential rain, somehow the festival’s chosen weekend remained dry and resplendent in the sunshine, giving us a brief injection of summer in the height of May. We’ve already posted our thoughts on the day’s music, with Ruth Saxelby saying of Mount Kimbie’s set, “it is very much a gig now, with instrument-swapping pauses in-between songs in contrast to the jointless sets of their early days”, and Steph Kretowicz describing Solange as “natural performer” who encouraged a “big grind session” from her audience. Now, though, thanks to Aoise Tutty being on the ground to shoot all our favourite acts on the day, you can get a more visual sense of the day’s glorious vibes by scrolling through our gallery below.
