Young Fathers - Romance

While technically a re-release of a free mixtape from last year, Young Fathers’ ‘Tape One’ EP is really worth reappraisal – and it’s available for a cheeky stream on Spotify ahead of its physical release next week.

Here’s the video for reflective cut Romance, whose woozy Jamaican vibes offer another layer of transglobal influence to an EP that’s fit to burst with them. Split-screened and built on grainy black and white footage, it sees the trio hang out with some girls (one of whom has brought an axe along with her), and generally look like the coolest kids in class.
