Wild Beasts - A Simple Beautiful Truth
Wild Beasts have released the video for A Simple Beautiful Truth – the second single for their latest album 'Present Tense' (for which they shared 10 important and unlikely inspirations with us at the time of its release in February).
Filmed by Klaus Thymann and further inspired by the absurdism of the Talking Heads, the foursome trek up a Brecon Beacons mountain in metallic suits and make jerky, angular movements with their bodies in a David Byrne style and fashion. The video also ends at twilight with what looks a bit like a routine around a neon maypole.
Along with the single and video, Wild Beasts have also announced an extensive summer tour through Europe and North America, the dates for that are listed below. You can also stream a remix of the song by touring mate East India Youth.
