Kindness - This Is Not About Us

Kindness has shared the ridiculously stylish video for his new single This Is Not About Us.

This Is Not About Us is a really, really good song- we can't imagine how chuffed you must feel if you'd come up with those chords, or that drum sample, or that deep bass tone. Its video continues Kindness's run of excellent visual counterparts to his music, co-directed by both Daniel Brereton and Kindness himself.

Kindness bod Adam Bainbridge had some words to say about working with choreographer Karla Garcia: "Some of my favourite videos are simple choreographies – for the This is Not About Us video I wanted to try working with a choreographer and push myself to work on dance in a way that was less free-form and messy. I’m glad to have had the chance to work with Karla and to appreciate even more the role of the choreographer. It’s an ego-less thing to give yourself over to making someone else dance as well as possible, especially when they’re not nearly on your level. Thank you to the crew and Dan for capturing our day together."

Kindness recently announced some live dates. His new album, 'Otherness', is out next week. Expect to see an in-depth interview with him up on Dummy over the coming days.
