Watch a short film soundtracked by Flying Lotus
Last week it was revealed that Flying Lotus was doing a jazz album, and a rap mixtape, and possibly working with Herbie Hancock. Then we found out he was scoring an indie film, and hosting a radio station the new GTA game. Flying Lotus is the busiest man alive, ran our headline, and today we can reveal that…well, he’s still busy.
Wildcat is a short film by Kahlil Joseph and scored by FlyLo. The two previously worked together on the short film for Until The Quiet Comes and they clearly make a good pair. Joseph’s still black-and-white images depict an all-black rodeo in an all-black town in the heart of America and are accompanied by FlyLo’s simple, minimal musical accompaniment.
