Triad God - So Pay La

London-Cantonese artist Triad God has shared a new video for So Pay La, another pearl of a collaboration between the MC and Mixpak producer Palmistry. The track surfaced on Palmistry's 'Free Indeed' mixtape in January: at the time the combining of Triad God's contorted murmurings and Palmistry's elegiac production had us thinking it was the most affecting piece either artist had shared, a feeling which hasn't diminished in the months since. The Jim Alexander-directed video is a simple but striking thing: Triad God's reflection caught in a train window as he fights back exhaustion, before travelling alone to a restaurant and wearing a blank, lost expression slumped at a deserted table.
