SBTRKT - Hold On / Migration (live)

To accompany the release of a new live album, masked man Aaron Jerome has offered up a video of his live performance with Sampha. Bathed in a blue glow, the visual focuses on the instrumental finesse of his live shows, with hi-hats being smashed, cowbells struck and wires tangling.

Young Turks have had a live album on standby for a while now, and as of today, it’s available to buy. SBTRKT announced via Twitter that the album, simply titled ‘LIVE’, is available digitally as well as on vinyl, limited to 500 pressings. The LP compiles the recordings of his Shepherd’s Bush Empire show with contributions from SBTRKT favourites Sampha and The Heritage Orchestra. The tracks are mainly performances of his hugely acclaimed self-titled debut, but bonus cut ‘Evening Glow’ also gets a look-in.
