Rudi Zygadlo - Melpomene

The tentativeness of falling in love is both the subject and soul of Glasgow producer Rudi Zygadlo’s new single Melpomene. Named over the Greek muse that represented both singing and tragedy, it is a bold compositional work that at once surprises, soothes and saddens. Structurally the song surges, breaks and retreats in a circular motion, like the tide or emotions. That flow is reflected in this charming video, which starts where it ends, or ends where it starts, which is kind of how relationships work, isn’t it?
