R Kelly - Trapped in the Closet, chapter 23

R Kelly’s sprawling ‘Trapped in the Closet’ is set to become more complicated this November with the announcement of a new installment of the series.

The introductory chapter of the new episodes re-lights the trail of infidelity left from the first 22; it sees Kelly continuing to pioneer the use of the telephone conversation in his music and inevitably ends on a cliffhanger. Aside from the destination(s) of “the package” there’s a mysterious new character, and also note the newspaper clipping of a mob war headline in the opening shots. It almost goes without saying, but it looks like sex, money and violence will be rife.

The new episodes will air on IFC in the US on 23 November (that’s Thanksgiving), but will hopefully reach the rest of the world soon after.
