Premiere: Sinjin Hawke & Morri$ - Ferrofluid

Ferrofluid isn't the first time that Sinjin Hawke and Morri$ have joined forces – I was only introduced to the latter artist after hearing their collaborative One Kiss – but their stock has risen considerably since their first outing, with Sinjin Hawke having had a stellar year with Prom Nite and Morri$ putting out a white label via Night Slugs and adding production to Kelela's forthcoming mixtape.

The name Ferrofluid sounds initially like a reference to over-the-counter medicine Theraflu, but it's actually named after a magnetic liquid metal. Sinjin Hawke and Morri$' s obsession with this substance seems to be explored in this video, which essentially sees a HD representation of ferrofluid reacting to their music.

It's due out on a new artistic platform called Fractal Fantasy. Fractals, for those that don't know, are infinitely complex patterns that look identical from any scale and form a never-ending feedback loop. If you image search the term "fractal fantasy" you get some pretty bizarre results.

It's worth mentioning, too, that Hawke's new press shot (below) has been meticulously rendered in 3D. All in all, a lot of hi-def action to get your heads around.
