Premiere: George Issakidis - Karezza

George Issakidis is the brains behind the underrated, possibly defunct mutant dance imprint The Republic Of Desire as well as being a one-time member of 90s acid techno group The Micronauts. He’s also been behind many a track, released either solo or in collaboration with artists like Speedy J, and last week he released ‘Karezza’, his debut album under his own name, via techno-through-post-punk label Kill The DJ Records. The LP’s title track has now got an occult-obsessed video directed by Issakidis himself – it’s a little skewiff, patchwork and very DIY, but it seems an oddly compelling companion to George’s alien sounds.
