Peaking Lights - Beautiful Dub

Whilst straight-up dub music remains a genre that I’ve yet to venture into, I’m a massive fan of the “dub version”, in which tracks are drawn out into extended, FX-heavy, free-flowing versions that place a huge emphasis on space and groove. With the recent album ‘Lucifer In Dub’, Peaking Lights transformed their sophomore album into an echo-soaked dubby paradise, and the duo have recently released a video for Beautiful Dub – much like the music, it’s a sunsoaked, Super-8 vision of surf that is heavy on the FX.
