Hejira - Litmus Test

Matthew Herbert's favourite band Hejira (he told us all about them back in 2012) shared a new video on Nowness over the weekend for their steamy single Litmus Test, the first to be taken from their imminent debut album, 'Prayer Before Birth'.

The band take over their 'House of Dreams' (the London property they share) for this sweet one-take video, in which a woman wanders through the different rooms of the house past each of the musicians, who are all engrossed in performing (and the audio, it's worth mentioning, is all live). Seeing the band doing what they love sends a striking yet simple message, as the simmering power and concetration of their performances adds a sharp new edge to the slow-burning song. 

Accidental will release 'Prayer Before Birth' on the 21st October 2013.
