Gold Panda - Community

South London-bred, Berlin-based producer Gold Panda has a new video out today that may have him feeling a little homesick. Capturing the spirit of South London in a rush of traffic, face-on portraits, chicken shops and his own recent gig in Brixton, the film is a perfect match for Community, a warm, tightly woven track full of soulful samples taken from his excellent second album 'Half Of Where You Live', which focusses on city life and the disorientation it can bring. Less than disorienting, though, this smile-filled video is a loving portait of South London, feeling like a moment of calm in the centre of a hectic, fast-moving place.
