Atoms For Peace - Ingenue

Atoms For Peace, Thom Yorke’s collaboration with long-time producer Nigel Godrich and a project whose debut ‘Amok’ is our album of this week, is big on loose thinking and loose moving: a collisionist dance music experiment focused on flux. Rightly, the video for Ingenue features a dance routine similar to Lotus Flower (it’s also choreographed by Wayne MacGregor and directed by Garth Jennings) but Yorke’s tandem performance with Fukiko Takase is less hyper-expressive freak out and more about the basic qualities of two people or different parts of a single person trying to move in sync.
