ANGO - True Blue (Produced by Jacques Greene)

Back in July – remember July? – Montreal singer/producer ANGO dropped his ‘Serpentine’ mixtape (available for free here) and I got all excited about True Blue, a collab with pal Jacques Greene. Like his recent work for Katy B, it finds Greene in low-slung groove mode; the perfect backdrop for ANGO to get real with his baby. This new video sees him reaching for the words to put things right in the aftermath of an argument. It’s endearingly awkward, and suits the blue mood beautifully.
