The editors of the music book series 33 1/3 want you to write about your favourite album.
Bloomsbury Academic recently accquired the publishers of the much-loved 33 1/3. The idea for the series is wonderfully simple – a good writer, on a great album, for 100-odd pages. Now, the new owner is putting out an open call for submissions for the next run. Submit a proposal for a 50,000 word book on an album, and you could find yourself in print.
All details are on the 33 1/3 blog, though please be aware that if you’re thinking about either Clipse’s ‘Lord Willin’ or the Manic’s ‘Generation Terrorists’, you’ve got a fight on your hands.
