Mount Kimbie announce festival and tour dates, second LP on the way

The Warp duo will appear in North America and Europe in May and June.

One of our absolute favourites, Warp’s Mount Kimbie, have just announced a series of festival appearances and tour dates in late spring and early summer of this year.

Mount Kimbie will be performing at the Ray-Ban x SXSW Warehouse Broadcast party on March 16th – which boasts a seriously impressive and varied line-up with the likes of Chief Keef, Death Grips, Lunice and Baauer amongst others – before European festival appearances in May at Sound City, the Lisbon and Berlin legs of the xx curated Night & Day, Imagine, London Calling and Field Day and then onto full North American and European tour dates moving into June, including a headline show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom and a soon to be announced headline show in London.

They will be joined on the North American tour dates by Holy Other.

Mount Kimbie will end the tours with an appearance at the final leg of The xx’s Night + Day festivals, which will be held in London on June 23rd.

These dates will come in the lead up to more details of their as yet untitled second LP, which we learn is near completion. The pair have confirmed that they have been recording in their South London studio, and their second album is due to be released on Warp.
