MoMa New York commissions Antony Hegarty

Antony and the Johnsons vocalist handed a multi-media production at Radio City Hall. With lasers and stuff.

The Museum of Modern Art in New York has announced a forthcoming multi-media collaboration with Antony Hegarty.

The show is set to be performed at Radio City Hall and will feature a 60-piece symphony orchestra, some of Antony and the Johnsons’ greatest hits and, crucially, some lasers.

Entitled Swanlights, and described by MoMa as a “meditation on light, nature and femininity,” the event will take place on January 26th, 2012. Tickets are due to go on sale on November 12th.
