James Murphy is adding another peculiar project to his varied post-music career: opening a wine bar.
Besides featuring up to 350 different wine selections, Murphy spent a lot of time working on the room's acoustics, designing the space in such a way that you won't have to yell over the music to speak to your friends.
More importantly, in Murphy's continued culinary explorations over the past few years (eating "like a 14th-century noble", as he says), he developed gout. "Far and away the most painful thing I've ever had."
