Chris and Cosey record album with Nik Void of Factory Floor

Members of industrial bands Throbbing Gristle and Factory Floor are coming together for a unique collaboration, out in March.

In the best collaboration we’ve ever heard about (today), Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti of Throbbing Gristle and Nik Void of Factory Floor have announced that they will be releasing an album together at the end of March.

The record, titled ‘Transverse’, was created for and recorded live in front of an audience at the Short Circuit presents Mute festival at the Roundhouse, London in 2011. It will be released under the sensible collective name of “Carter Tutti Void”. It’s not the first time Gristle and The Floor have rubbed shoulders – Chris Carter remixed the industrial trio’s early single Lying.

Divided into four parts, the simplistic tracklist looks like this:

V1 (10:04)
V2 (10:05)
V3 (09:06)
V4 (10:08)

Mute will release ‘Transverse’ on the 26th March 2012.
