Sam Haar and Zach Steinman, bka Blondes, met at Oberlin College, an elite compositional-music school. Working with synths and drum machines, their music is related to house, kosmiche and so on, yet works at a thrilling pace, relating time and meaning into an infinite loop that works at the speed of thought. Their debut album, out on RVNG INTL in February, is one of the most promising electronic albums we’ve heard in a long time, so when our boy Jake asked us to help out with their gig, we jumped. Expect features, photos and more exclusives around the album and the gig.
