Vellico - Pennines

Throwing Snow, who last graced us with his presence for the earthy ‘Aspera’ EP closer Behest, yesterday shared a collaborative new track on Soundcloud. Joining forces with his brother under the name Vellico, the first track from the new venture is, in his own words, ‘aimed squarely at the dance floor’.

Pennines – not the first place you might go in hunt of club destroyers – is built on a steamrollering beat that thunders to the fore in a manner reminiscent of Blawan’s Lavender. Trading in his speciality for intelligent, precise production, it instead allows itself to be swept along by pure energy and instinct. Stream it below.
