A cosmic, phased-out percussion adventure by the Israeli hippie.
For the uninitiated, Shimshon Miel is a lone-wolf hippie from Tel-Aviv who experimented with hallucinogenic psych-folk, and self-released his only album in 1977, before disappearing into obscurity. However, the good people over at Fortuna Records have rediscovered him and the gold he produced from a bygone era and will reissue two of the album's killer cuts for the very first time, alongside a late-night club edit by fellow Israeli and Fortuna co-founder, Kalbata, which we are premiering below.
Expect extra trippy percussion soundscapes layered on top of a thumping bass guitar in wild 70's style stereo action, while Kalbata's remix is a straight up voodoo ritual, adding euphoric 808 subs to the jacked-up original.
