Lone strips back vocals and adds an infectious piano roll to create of his most perfectly composed remixes yet.
Copenhagen-based duo Silas Moldenhawer and Jonas Kenton make up forward thinking electronic outfit Kenton Slash Demon. After hotting up many a dancefloors last summer with their hands-up cut Harpe, which was followed by with their 'TT/Dok' EP in March, they returned last month with new single Peace. Described as "dance music [that's] too slow to really work in a classic club environment", the single whips up sci-fi influences with warped vocals that give it real out-of-this-world feel.
Hot off the back of releasing his new album 'Levitate' on R&S Records in May, Lone brings a heady dose of ‘90s revivalism to his rework of Peace. Stripping back the vocals to an occasional fleeting sample, he builds into a momentous piano breakdown before breaking in to his buoyant and rolling trademark sound.
We assure you, this one's for those sun soaked days by the pool.
The Lone remix of Peace is out July 29th on Future Classic.
