Dummy Mix 451 // Astral Plane DJ Team

Breakout online music platform The Astral Plane have been championing independent, young, and lesser-known artists since their inception back in 2012.

Committed to "antiquities of the future", the platform added a label to its offering, which has been home to releases from the likes of Nunu, Organ Tapes, Chants, SHALT, and more. They also host The Astral Plane show on Radar Radio, and have contributed mixes for Symbols and the Into The Blue show. Right now, they're prepping SHALT's 'Acheron Remixed' for its release tomorrow (pre-order here) wirh releases from LOFT, E.M.M.A., and SHALT EP pencilled in for later in the year.

Ahead of joining us for the September edition of our Dummy Presents series in LA with guests Violence, Maieli, Bianca Oblivion, Nargiz, and The Dance Pit – the Astral Plane DJ team have put together a stellar mix of tracks from artists we regularly cover on the site, from Letta and Sylvere to Eaves and E.M.M.A.

In Astral Plane boss Gabe's own words:

""Made up of tracks tested out in our living room and at nights in LA over the past few weeks, this recording touches on a lot of the more industrial-influenced music we’ve released without delving into full blown hysteric dystopia. It’s important to always leave room for light and whether that comes from sneaky ghost melodies in a SHALT tune or a moment affirming Lil Uzi Vert chorus we’ve tried to include plenty in our Dummy mix."
