Helena Hauff - Actio Reacto

Last year we posted a mix by Helena Hauff ahead of her set at Actress’s ‘R.I.P’ launch party, and highlighted a choice quote from the DJ: “I just started producing music. I got a 303, an MPC and I try to save some money for some other gear. It’s big fun to fuck around with some machines and I simply don’t understand computers.” Since then, Hauff has released a cassette through Blackest Ever Black sister label Krokodilo Tapes, and today we’re posting the 808 cowbell-heavy Actio Reacto, which is finding a home through Actress’ Werkdiscs imprint. Imagine a track built on the gear she discussed above, combine that with a Werkdics aesthetic and you’re there – it’s ace.

Werkdiscs will release Actio Reacto on August 5th.
