Fryars - In My Arms

Fryars’ name should immediately ring bells for anybody that recalls the dizzying heights of British indie circa 2007/8. Things have been notably quiet for Fryars since the release of his debut album in 2008, and you might have even figured that the project had been disbanded, but today he released the video for his new single In My Arms. A shuffling beat and minimalistic instrumentation play out, introducing piano chords that could easily appear on a house track, and Fryars’ fantastic vocal ties the whole piece together. The video, meanwhile, is a glossy affair featuring a human hamster ball and some swimming pools. Watch it here.
