FKA twigs - Two Weeks

We were a wee bit excited when we got news that FKA twigs' debut album will drop via Young Turks this August, so we're feeling rather giddy after a few spins through Two Weeks, the first musical offering to drop from 'LP1'.

Considering FKA twigs super-high track record when it comes to videos, it feels right that this clip was directed by super-talent Nabil, and it doesn't disappoint: casting her as some kind of sensual Egyptian goddess (but as dreamed up via an R&B video circa 1999). Two Weeks features lines about being "higher than a motherfucker", and it's dragged along by a rough, rugged sexuality. There's a lot to digest in the rumbling production, but that should make you more hungry to wack play again right after it fades out. 

Young Turks will release 'LP1' on August 12th 2014.
