Django Django - Shake and Tremble

The latest single to be pulled from Django Django's second album 'Born Under Saturn' is the rocking and stomping Shake and Tremble.

Its video is a very fun thing: the band asked director Pete Dee to work on the video after seeing his work on Ganglians' video for Jungle in 2011, extending the concept of lo-fi visuals, animatronic plants, and insects into their own world.

So although it is very lo-fi in style, it's also quite high concept in terms of imagination. The video's setting reflects the place where the song was written – a volcanic island (the the band were out there a while back collaborating with artist Haroon Mirza, naturally). And, unlike many other Django Django videos, you actually get to see the band, which is nice.

Django Django are about to embark on a mammoth world tour, including a stopover at Paris's We Love Green festival this weekend. Following that, they'll play Field Day, Melt!, Latitude, Pukkelpop, Reading & Leeds, and basically everywhere else under the sun.
