Yizzy is fast becoming one of the most exciting artists in London at the tender age of 17. The Lewisham repping rapper is part of a distinct wave of MCs from the Blue Borough that are making a lot of waves (along with Novelist, The Square and Vision Crew, who are all also very young) but his skills and respect for the craft make him a standout. After an impressive debut EP 'This Is Life', released back in April, and performing at this year's Glastonbury Festival, he returns with the visual for new single 'Mr. Kray', the debut release off his own 'Livin' Legendz' label.
A sadistic grime tribute to the Kray brothers, with visuals directed by the legendary Risky Roadz – who needs no introduction – Yizzy's creativity is brought to life. Playing both Kray twins and dapper from head to toe, the rapper takes you on an adventure through the seedy underbelly of the U.K's captial that the notorious east London duo represented. You are almost transported back to those times, such is the authenticity of Yizzy's movie. His vocals are super intense also, as he spits at the speed of a runaway train. With a vivid imagination and plenty of bars, Yizzy's ascent is only just beginning.
