Video: Grime, 14.06.19South London’s Yizzy finds himself trapped in a nightmarish hospital thriller for the new video of his track, ‘Noticing Me Now’.
The video, released through our new DMY Recordings label, sees the MC being restrained on an operating table by a group of apocalyptic figures, symbolising the artist’s battle to be heard in a cluttered industry.
The high octane song is taken from Yizzy’s newly released ‘Welcome To Grime Street‘ EP – featuring vocals by fellow London artist Elshay that complement the MC’s strapping lyrics, it makes for a dramatic sound.
Yizzy describes the cut as a “special tune that I never expected to make. My EP tracklist was done for ages, I took a song off to make room for this song instead. Listen to the song to find out why.”
The Lewisham MC celebrated the release of his EP with two huge performances over the weekend at Parklife – shelling at the Reprezent Radio stage – and Field Day, where he marked the start of the festival by headlining the Dr Martens Boot Room stage.
He also recently delivered an explosive Fire In The Booth freestyle.
