Never settling for second best, iconic rum brand Sailor Jerry spent time on the move this year with one hell of a road trip – The Ride 2015.
Kicking off the epic road-trip proceedings in London, a dedicated convoy of motorbikes – including a Sailor Jerry custom built Harley Davidson panhead – took to the road for a 15-night trip that spanned 2,500 miles, touching down in 15 cities to host three Sailor Jerry Present gigs, as well as a couple of mammoth BBQ cookouts along the way to keep spirits high.
The ride scoped out some of the UK’s coolest hangouts, taking it’s tightly-knit squad of pro BMXers, tattooists, photographers, designers and music promoters to the British roads with a fleet of fearless bikers to various spots, city hopping from the Sailor Jerry street party in Nottingham, to cruising the steepest road in the country, checking out the new Livingston skatepark in Edinburgh and stopping off in Newquay to visit unique roadside café. Quite simply, The Ride condensed the best places to visit in the UK into one ultimate bike route.
Watch the video above for a glimpse into The Ride, which catches up with some of the individual riders involved, showcasing the life on the road and the custom bikes they ride.
