We are big fans of south London singer-songwriter Mina Rose, who has made a splash in 2017 with debut single 'Lemons & Limes', which projected a playful, Lily Allen-esque swagger and delivery in her vocals, and her star turns on Conducta's new single, 'Wanna Go' and tracks from Tricky's most recent Ununiform album. This is clearly a young woman with bundles of talent. It also helps when your step-dad played in ska bands and you are a descendant of the 'Queen of Kent Gypsies', Urania Boswell Lee, on your mother's side.
Returning to her own music, she has shared a visual for her track, 'Kingdom', taken from her Issue 25 EP. Using the video to demonstrate the idea of breaking free from the mould we think we should fit, Mina's smooth and hypnotic delivery shines throughout the evocative track.
