Hailing from Bucharest, Romania, Miruna Boruzescu has been DJing for well over 10 years. Under the name Borusiade, just in the past year we've witnessed her mixes for Cómeme Radio as well as heard her give a guest mix on Ben UFO's Rinse show in the summer.
Early in 2015 she remixed a track by Ana Helder for the compilation 'One Night In Cómeme Vol. 4' but now she's making her solo production debut on the label with an EP titled 'Jeopardy'. Below we have the music video that accompanies the title track of the release. Excelling in a dark sound palette, Jeopardy carries a spooky EBM vibe – her voice mournfully contemplating "While others struggle for their lives…" and then continuing after a meaningful pause, "…I fight to forget your eyes."
The video intersperses black and white old footage of men fighting/exercise with whirring machinery. It's a collaboration with graphic designer/art director Marine Drouan, who puts together flyers for female:pressure's Berlin events. Watch the video below!
'Jeopardy' is released via Cómeme on 29th January 2016.
