Shot mostly underwater, LA art rock group Warpaint’s new video (for the song also named Warpaint) has that constant breath-holding feeling, nervously mimicking the experience of being submerged, with jumpy shots and flailing limbs. The interplay of pretty dresses and tea sets with the casual threat of drowning makes this the strongest Warpaint video to date, grasping perfectly both the group’s beautiful sound, and the edge of danger they pack into it. Would probably pass on the invite to this tea party, but it makes for awesome viewing.
