South London Ordnance has been teasing out new tracks from his 'He Do The Police In Different Voices' EP for a while now. First there was JD Twitch's remix of Modular Splash, then Chris Carter's remix of Black Acre, and now we have the new video for the original version of Black Acre, which features masked magician Brolin.
The letterbox-shaped video is pretty striking – although we'll freely admit we have no idea what's going on in it – there's a lot of contorted limbs, a black/white dichotomy and some fairly sordid shots of a woman wrapped in plastic. The tune, however, is a belter.
We recently premiered Brolin's new track Portland, continuing his penchant for naming songs after faraway places.
Aery Metals released 'He Do The Police In Different Voices' on August 19th.
