He may have one of the more unpleasant-sounding monikers going, but My Dry Wet Mess' coruscating, energetic take on LA beat is worth getting immersed in, as displayed on the Italian producer's 2012 Brainfeeder LP, 'Stero Typing'.
He's got a new EP on the way for Fine Grains, and from it here's a listen to the fleet-footed Infinito, which has a metallic melody and a sharp, clap-heavy beat. It's got a wee video from Scottish artist Florence To to go with it, which we suspect might work more to full effect projected on to a warehouse wall than on a laptop screen, but it's rather bewitching nonetheless.
Last year, Ruth Saxelby profiled Florence To's graceful, dazzling installation work, which you may well have spied on Boiler Room, or as a backdrop to the live shows of Shigeto and Auntie Flo.
Fine Grains will release the 'Laptop Dance' EP on July 7th 2014.
