When Jack Colleran aka MMOTHS released 'Luneworks' last month, many reviews noted the nocturnal mood of the Irish producer's work, given that he wrote and recorded his debut album entirely at night. This conjecture is typified sonically by the instrumental interlude, Lucid, though the visual released today may not harmonise with the song's temper. For the video to Lucid, Colleran helmed the camera himself to catch footage in and around his native city Dublin, with two-and-a-half minutes of celluloid capturing birds in flight, factories, weather-beaten trees, and imagery relating to the sky and land.
Watch the video to Lucid above and if you're in London, catch MMOTHS perform at Corsica Studios on May 18th (info).
MMOTHS' debut album 'Luneworks' is out now through Because Music (buy).
