Korean-Canadian producer Joel Eel dropped his ‘Performing A Crime’ album in September last year, a full-length comprised of bleeding-edge warehouse sounds.
It came delivered via the concept of how being in love can sometimes feel like a criminal act, and how it can often take place through the lens of social media.
Continuing on from the album’s focus on self-identity and Eel’s Korean heritage, the Forth collective label owner now unleashes the visuals for ‘Body Builder’, revolving around self-expression on Instagram as the central theme.
With Korean text flashing up, the video features stories from individuals he follows on social media – the end result being a collage of self-love from a variety of different people.
Watch it above.
