It’s February 14th and, although being a day oft-maligned by much of the population, is also a time to shamelessly champion your relationships.
The video for Etta Bond’s ‘Shorny’, which we’re premiering above, stitches together her FaceTime conversations between her and her lover, documenting the very first time they met and their ensuing relationship.
The rising London-based singer, dubbed the ‘skinhead soul princess’, has just come off touring with Kojey Radical, and features on Swindle’s ‘No More Normal’ album. Etta is now gearing up to put out not one but two albums next month – ‘He’s Not Mine’ drops on March 15th, while ‘He’s Mine’ arrives a week later.
Even if you’re a Valentine’s day scrooge, you can’t help but be taken in by the video’s joyfulness and the cute quirks of an unfolding relationship – watch it above.
Etta Bond’s two albums ‘He’s Not Mine’ and ‘He’s Mine’ come out on March 15th and March 22nd respectively.
