3:20 isn't the time you went to bed last night, it is "not to be slept on, not to be stepped on" producer Aaron Daniels, who makes his online debut with his forthcoming EP, 'Scenes'.
Spending his formative years glued to his Walkman, Daniels became a DJ over ten years ago, at the tender age of 13. Creeping further into his teens, grime and pirate radio was discovered, along with a bootleg copy of Logic Pro.
Slipping in and out of consciousness, The Trip is exactly that. Taken from 'Scenes', the track is the first in a trilogy of videos set to be released by 3:20 around the release. Daniels' self-sourced clip for The Trip sees a protagonist root out a stash in his neon-lit room and dive right in. As the track deepens – sweeping up fuzzy vocals with haunting and intoxicating instrumentals – so do the hallucinations, combining light with sound for the ultimate trip, with red light district signs to boot.
Daniels comments: “I have experienced good times, bad times, love, hate, lust, heartbreak, friendship, enemies, happiness, sadness, being high and being low during my lifetime.” Daniels introduces the EP, explaining, “Each track is a different emotion, a different part of me as a person, a different thought, a different scene throughout my life journey so far.”
The 'Scenes' EP is set for release on October 16th.
